At Good Dog Studio we create natural, artistic and character-filled images of your pets, capturing their personalities, quirks and joy in a calm, relaxed studio environment located in Bowral, the heart of the beautiful Southern Highlands, NSW where you and your pet will love the experience.
This lovingly created imagery will be delivered as digital files that can be crafted into luxury printed artwork products for you to enjoy forever as a lifelong keepsake and memory of our loyal and loving furry friends.

Our story
Good Dog Studio is run by Shelly Willingham, based here in the Southern Highlands.
“Photography's been my craft for 15+ years, and I still feel lucky every time I do it. I grew up on a farm in Southern Africa, surrounded by animals — that's still how I shoot today: looking for the real story in front of me, not a performance. I also photograph shelter dogs looking for their forever home through Better Shot.”
Our work
Better Shot Project
A few months ago, working closely with FOWAS we rolled out our Better Shot program at the Wingecaribee Animal Shelter. I figured that better professional adoption photos and increased awareness would increase their chances of being adopted.
Well, it worked - within a couple of months all the pups we photographed, some had been there for 8 months or more have now been adopted.
We’re excited to continue on this program as our way of giving back.
