Good Dog Studio is a one-person operation, based in the Southern Highlands.

Photography's been my craft for 15+ years, and I fell in love with photographing dogs when I dipped my toe in the water, photographing the pups up for adoption at the Animal Shelter. I grew up on a farm in Southern Africa, surrounded by animals, with an artist grandfather who taught me to notice the story in front of me before I ever picked up a camera. That's still how I shoot — a private session, a shelter dog looking for their forever home through Better Shot, or a pack of pups at doggie daycare.

Same idea every time: the photo should look like your gorgeous pup, not a performance - capturing the real personality and character.

I work with local pet owners, doggie daycares and businesses across the Southern Highlands and beyond, and I've built my process to take the anxiety out of being in front of the camera — for the humans and the dogs.
